WILLIAM MYLREA 1748 Malew

At a Chapter Court holden in Castletown within the diocese of Sodor & Man the 21st day of February 1749 Mariner on board his Majesty's the Gloucester man-of-war William Mylrea son of Charles Mylrea deceased late of the parish of Malew within this diocese as by advice received departed this life in the hospital at Plymouth about the month of August 1748 intestate The Court upon intelligence thereof hath decreed his only brother Charles Mylrea sole administrator of all his goods, credits and effects moveable and immoveable whatsoever whereupon the said Charles is sworn in Court well and truly to administer all the goods and credits of the said deceased intestate To bring an inventory to the Registry as he can discover the same and for the payment of debts according to law To these ends and for the security of the Office he has given pledges in form of law namely Ewan Looney and Thomas Mylrea both of Ballasalla Solvit
